It was a busy time in Fiji last week. Working with Bruce Herbert of Team Alchemy System we ran two workshops for the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat. The first was for the Senior Management Team and the second for the staff of 100. It was a full on four days where Belbin Team Roles featured strongly. There was however some time for Fijian style relaxation - guitars, song and kava. Check out the photos

Greetings,
Those of us with a long standing involvement with Belbin will recall the contributions of Dr David Marriott in establishing the Team Roles profiling system. David died earlier this week in his Queensland home.
Early on he helped field test Team Roles in Australia and linked the assembly of the Self Perception component with the 16PF tool.
He was a cheerful, quiet spoken colleague whose strong Monitor Evaluator style meant that he was never afraid to question new developments and, so, ensure that the tools and techniques we use measure up.
His passing is a notable event in the evolution of Team Roles.
