Here at the NZRCA national champs in Hawke’s Bay some really cool story’s are happening. The Manawatu team have put a Traxxas Slash into the A Main with Sam Mitchell - a great effort and Julian Hardy has put his 30year old SRT into the stock truck A main as well. If you are in the Hawke’s Bay call down to the IAP ground to see the team and ask them about the cars.

For those who are interested in the history of Traxxas, our Manawatu dealer is really into the older cars and has a pretty nice collection of them, including 2 x TRX1, the first true competition based car, a TRX3 and has finished a SRT Stadium Truck for this weekends Classic Meeting being held at Hamilton's Bristol Park. Racing starts at 12pm on Sunday and runs through to 5pm. We know that it clashes with Bathurst, so you can call down watch some cool old school cars and then home for the race end. If you are interested in vintage RC cars, do a facebook search and see what cool stuff is happening around NZ with older RC Cars.

Whether you are crawling, racing, bashing or crashing, let’s take it easy until this lockdown is over, but take a bow owners as we are all part of the team if 5 Million that kicked this to touch. Down in the Manawatu, they just love the Traxxas Slash 2wd. With the Manawatu RC Club champs just raced over the weekend, here are some amazing action shots of the Traxxas team in action. Amazing shots are from Brett Gunnell.
Most of these trucks are stock standard with different tires. Our Manawatu Team Dealer at tells us the most common parts used to race are the #5830 LCG chassis kit and the #3767 Alloy shock caps. The rest of the truck retains the 12T Titan Motor, XL5 ESC and the kit 8.4V Nimah battery. Contact your local Traxxas Dealer Network member and get them to get you a 2WD Slash 58034-1 or the Ford Raptor 58094-1 versions as they rock!!!

Our Manawatu Traxxas Dealer at Raukawa International Raceway had a raceday over the weekend. They love the Traxxas Slash for the kids as they are durable, tough and look cool.
