Sustainable Water 2019 Ltd is a small to medium sized organization that provides design & installation services relating to agricultural water management systems.

Job Description
The successful candidates will need to be physically fit, hard working & hold a current NZ driver’s licence. The position is initially for a six-to-eight-week period starting September/October, with the possibility to continue on a casual/when required basis going forward.

Hours
Between 7am & 5.30pm Monday to Friday – with some flexibility around these times

With July being one of the wettest on record in Canterbury now is a good time to think about your effluent storage. While washdown volumes are low, spreading any volume of effluent now is a real challenge!

In the shots below the team are unloading a pump-shed next to a pond Sustainable Water recently lined with HDPE. The shed is part of a project turning a single pond system into a twin pond system, with green water pumped into the irrigation network for distribution, and a portion reused for flood wash duties.

Like this stunner from last week, where the boys were laying 75mm poly mainline for fixed grid irrigation.

Do you have an Ocmis or Irtech hard hose irrigator that has splits in the hose? Or do you have a travelling linear that is wearing through the layflat hose?

We can sort that!

Temporary repairs may have got you through the last season but the failures will continue, and almost always occur in a critical part of your growing season. We have access to drum coilers that can supply PE80 or PE100 in a continuous coil from 75mm to 160mm in diameter. Maximum coil lengths are approx. 800m to 270m long, depending on the diameter. We can replace your old hose with a brand new hose and even service your machine at the same time!

Now is the best time of year to replace the hard hose on your irrigator before the growing season starts. Saving you downtime and unnecessary stress later in the season.

Last week we celebrated Jason’s birthday! Being a significant number, we even got Jason a special cake, and a large number of candles.

It’s a bit of a worry when the first lit candles are near 1/2 burnt by the time you finish the last candles!

Another brilliant day at Terrace Downs yesterday! Sustainable water sponsoring the Windwhistle school golf classic for another year. We’ve been sponsoring this event for over 8 years and love the opportunity to contribute to the community.
This year Chris Thomson and Jason Feutz swung the clubs for Sustainable Water.

First task of the day yesterday - urgent PVC pipe delivery for a customer in need.
Order received late Friday afternoon, delivery Tuesday morning after the long weekend.
