Dear all,



We would like to inform you that Japan Government has circulated the new provision on entry ban for strengthening border security measures. Please go through the below points about the stipulated terms and conditions to enter Japan.

As per Japan Government’s new border control measures, only the following person can enter Japan:



1. Four categories of people can enter Japan; they are (as specified below):

i) Spouses and children of Japanese Nationals.
ii) Permanent residents of Japan.
iii) Long term residents.
iv) Spouses of permanent residents who possess valid re-entry permit.
2. Diplomatic and official visa holders.

3. Those whose visas are issued at the Embassy of Japan in Nepal for humanitarian reasons.



Note: Those who have visa with EX-R seal, (specified under students and businessmen having COE) issued after 1 October 2020 can enter Japan until 3 January 2021.



Furthermore, Japan entering passengers must have these prerequisites:

1. RT- PCR negative report within 72 hours from sample collection/examination date.
2. Qr Code (web questionnaire).
3. Health Card.
4. Customs declaration form.
