(ES) La fuente de Youngstorget en Oslo, la que vemos actualmente es una réplica exacta de la original instalada en la plaza en 1880. Durante la ocupación alemana en 1942, la pieza original fue retirada y arrojada al mar en el puerto de Oslo, desde donde nunca ha sido rescatada.
Para recuperar este elemento patrimonial, se realizó una copia utilizando como molde una fuente idéntica que se encuentra en la ciudad de Stavanger. La réplica fue inaugurada en su ubicación actual en 1996.
(EN) The Youngstorget fountain in Oslo, the one we see today, is an exact replica of the original installed in the square in 1880. During the German occupation in 1942, the original was removed and thrown into the sea in Oslo’s harbor, where it has never been recovered.
To recover this piece of heritage, a copy was made using an identical fountain in the city of Stavanger as a mold. The replica was inaugurated in its current location in 1996.
