Oslo tiene algo difícil de explicar: incluso estando en una capital, puedes encontrar espacios donde el ruido casi desaparece y el silencio se convierte en parte de la experiencia.

Al ser una es­ta­ción a cie­lo abier­to jus­to an­tes de que las lí­neas se aden­tren en el tú­nel cen­tral sub­te­rrá­neo, go­za de una at­mós­fe­ra di­ná­mi­ca y vi­bran­te. A sus al­re­de­do­res se ex­tien­de una de las zo­nas co­mer­cia­les más ele­gan­tes de la ca­pi­tal, re­ple­ta de tien­das de mo­da, ca­fe­te­rías y a po­cos pa­sos del fa­mo­so Par­que Vigeland.
(EN) Originally opened in 1898 as the terminus for the Holmenkollen tram line, this station blends historic charm with modernity. As an open-air station situated just before the lines enter the central underground tunnel, it boasts a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere. It is surrounded by one of the capital’s most elegant shopping districts—filled with fashion boutiques and cafés—and lies just a short walk from the famous Vigeland Park.

(ES) Este video lo grabé al día siguiente del funeral del rey. Lo que más me impactó fue cómo terminó todo, solo un aplauso, enorme y respetuoso, frente al Palacio Real. Un aplauso que fue creciendo y que, para mí, marcó un momento muy especial. Fue como sentir: aquí se cierra el duelo, tenemos un nuevo rey y ahora toca seguir adelante. Quería compartir este video, aunque hayan pasado algunos días, porque creo que vale la pena mostrar cómo se vivió ese momento en Oslo.Tampoco puedo dejar de mencionar la triste noticia que recibimos ayer, la del fallecimiento de la princesa Astrid,a los 94 años de edad, solo 2 semanas después del fallecimiento de su hermano menor el rey Harald.
(EN) I recorded this video the day after the King’s funeral. What struck me most was how it all ended—just a round of applause, huge and respectful, in front of the Royal Palace. It was an ovation that grew in intensity and, for me, marked a very special moment. It felt like a sense of closure regarding the mourning period: we have a new king, and now it is time to move forward. I wanted to share this video, even though a few days have passed, because I think it is worth showing what that moment was like in Oslo. I also cannot fail to mention the sad news we received yesterday regarding the passing of Princess Astrid at the age of 94—just two weeks after the death of her younger brother, King Harald.

(ES) Para el mundo, el rey asume el trono y debe mostrarse impecable, preparado para asumir su deber y presentarse entero ante una nación.
Pero detrás del protocolo, la corona y las cámaras, hay una realidad mucho más humana: Haakon acaba de ascender al trono, pero, al mismo tiempo, acaba de perder a su papá.
En medio de un momento histórico, existe también un drama familiar, un dolor que muchas veces pasamos por alto. Porque detrás de una nación dolida que extraña a su rey, hay una familia entera atravesando una pérdida.
Ellos no perdieron solamente a un rey. Perdieron a un esposo, a un padre y a un abuelo.

They didn’t just lose a king. They lost a husband, a father, and a grandfather.

(ES) El dia de ayer fue un día lleno de emociones para Noruega, se anunció la muerte del rey Harald V , y el sentimiento de esperanza del día anterior se transformó en duelo nacional, miles de personas se mantuvieron firmes, silenciosas, respetuosas, esperando la llegada del féretro que traería los restos mortales del rey desde el Rikshospitalet hasta la capilla del Palacio Real. A pesar de la lluvia y las horas que pasaban la gente seguía llegando, trayendo flores, velas, y saludos escritos por ancianos, adultos, jóvenes y niños. Dios bendiga a la familia real y les dé las fuerzas necesarias para enfrentar este difícil momento.
(EN) Yesterday was a day filled with emotion for Norway. The death of King Harald V was announced, and the hope of the previous day transformed into national mourning. Thousands of people stood silently and respectfully, awaiting the arrival of the coffin that would carry the King’s remains from Rikshospitalet to the Royal Palace Chapel. Despite the rain and the passing hours, people continued to arrive, bringing flowers, candles, and messages written by the elderly, adults, young people, and children. May God bless the Royal Family and give them the strength to face this difficult time.
