Postcards from Norway 🇳🇴

Trondheim - a beautiful city, with amazing atmosphere and numerous cozy cafes and restaurants ✨

We hoped to see some Northern Lights here, but unfortunately got a pretty nasty snow storm 😂 Thanks to that, the city was covered with a layer of white snow and turned into a true wintery postcard.

The best way to visit the city is simply to roam around the streets and discover its beauty unplanned.

Places you must see:
• Nidarosdomen - a breathtaking cathedral - it’s good to check online if there’s a concert 🎵
• Gamle Bybro - an old, red bridge leading to the old part of the city
• Kristiansten festning - a fortress located on a hill - a perfect spot for an evening walk and a perfect view point of the city
• Kristianstenbakken street - a street down to the city with typical, Norwegian architecture

Here are our favourite food spots:

2025 was a good year ☺️

We visited our friends and families in Poland, explored Slovenia and Croatia during summer and traveled around Norway all year round.

We discovered the joy of cross country skiing and ice skating, which made winter one of our favourite seasons.

With friends, we celebrated birthdays and holidays in hyttas, and now, we completely understand why it’s basically a must when living in Norway 🇳🇴

Basically, the longer we live here, the better we understand the true spirit of friluftsliv.

Here’s to another year full of camper trips and exploring new places ✨

2025 was a good year afterall ☺️

We visited our friends and families in Poland, explored Slovenia and Croatia during summer and traveled around Norway all year round.

We discovered the joy of cross country skiing and ice skating, which made the winter one of our favourite seasons.

With friends, we celebrated birthdays and holidays in hyttas, and we now completely understand why it’s basically a must in Norway 🇳🇴

Basically, the longer we live here, the better we understand the true spirit of friluftsliv.

Postcards from Norway 🇳🇴

Rørøs - a cute, small town not far from the boarder with Sweden.

Known for its copper mine and typical, Norwegian architecture. During Christmas it turnes into a true winter wonderland, with lights on every building and amazing little shops along the Main Street.

The town is so memorable for it’s atmosphere around winter that it was used as a set for one of the top, Norwegian Netflix hits - Hjem til Jul ✨

When looking for a „koselig” place to spend a weekend during Christmas time, we definitely recommend adding Rørøs to your list 📌

We managed to catch last warm days in September ❤️

Camping in the wild is the best way to relax in Norway. We love finding a secluded spot in the woods, best if there’s a lake nearby - and trust me - there always is ☺️

We take that time to completely unwind and unplug. Savoring the moments of complete stillness.

Wherever you go, you can always count on some beautiful locations by the water where you can stay active or just chill out. ☺️

We’re definitely making the best of the last heat wave that came to Norway 🔥☀️ we can finally enjoy a beautiful, hot summer 🥳
