The Statue Climbing Over the Fortress Wall in Antibes 🇫🇷
At first, I thought someone was actually climbing over the wall.
Standing along the old fortress of Antibes, this statue of a woman stepping over the stone edge almost looks alive from a distance.
With the sea behind her and the harbor below, the scene feels frozen between reality and imagination. The movement in the sculpture makes it feel like she’s quietly escaping the old city toward the Mediterranean.
It’s the kind of detail many people walk past without noticing. But once you see it, the entire fortress suddenly feels more alive and cinematic.
Moments like this are why wandering without a plan often leads to the best discoveries.
Save this for your Antibes trip 🌊
