THE ALUMNI OF MARITIME ACADEMY OF NIGERIA, ORON, otherwise known and referred to as AMANO is registered Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
OUR AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
1) Promoting unity and cooperation among its members.
2) To promote social interaction, welfare, business network; and to encourage qualitative professional development of its members.
3) Provision of a common avenue through which members can relate with the alma mater (Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron), the government, relevant industry stakeholders and the international communities.
4) Putting in place activities and programs aimed at improving the training standard of the alma mater.
5) To participate actively either solely or in cooperation with any individual, group or organization having similar aims in projects or programs beneficial to members and the alma mater.
6) To generally partner with the government and other related agencies in promoting the interest and aspirations of the alma mater and in particular, to partner with the government and other related agencies in promoting the interest and aspirations of the AMANO.
7) Promoting a maritime training standard and professionalism in Nigeria, in corporation with other bodies and training institutions.
