The Chairman/MD of Uzotex Bonded terminal Mr Festus Mbisiogu was paid an official visit by the Comptroller of the Nigeria custom Service Imo Abia division Mrs B.B Iheanacho and her entourage.

She had kind words for MD and the bold steps he took in siting the terminal in IMO state and assured him of the New Customs which is centered on service will do everything possible to ensure smooth operation of the facility. She also thanked him for his efforts in ensuring that the access road to the command gets government attention and support in grading the road, easing access to the office.

On the other hand, the MD appreciated the hospitality and encouragement from the Comptroller and her men towards accelerating the take off of the terminal in Owerri, IMO state saying that this was the first in the state. He further stated that going from the positive feedback gotten so far from stakeholders, soon activities will commence and the goal of port decongestion at Onne will be actualized.
