LOCK YOUR FAITH IN THE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD!

So many "Faith preachers and teachers" have for a long time taught about many kinds of faith including 'no faith,' 'weak faith,' 'little faith,' 'strong faith' etc. mostly gleaned from the four gospels of the Bible.

Countless volumes of books and non - books have also been published on the subject of faith. But not a few Christians are still struggling with their faith in spite of these wide spectrum of information.

The new testment epistles, on the other hand, has provided us with the useful responses on how to win with our faith in the face of overwhelming challenges.

For the new creation man or woman, our faith was birthed at Salvation.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith..." Eph. 2:8. That's the beginning of faith.

Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. Romans 10:17

The message of Christ transport the faith of the Son of God to our hearts.

What message is that?

"...that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures." 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.

The Lord Jesus consequently became the "author and perfecter of faith." - Heb. 12:2.

No wonder Apostle Paul said in Galatians 2:20

"... I live by the faith of the Son of God..."

The believer's faith in union with the faith of the Son of God is an unbending, unyielding, uncompromising and impregnable faith.

In the face of a daunting task, and when the forces or elements of this world may want to exert their negativities on us, and get us to believe or act contrary to the Word; We must maintain our composure and affirm our faith in the faith of the Son of God through words like Apostle Paul did.

This consciousness and understanding changes how we pray, speak, rule and reign.

Remain blessed!!

LOCK YOUR FAITH IN GOD'S FAITHFULNESS - 11

Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God... Deut. 7:9

Knowing that GOD is FAITHFUL provide for us a divine advantage in our walk of faith with Him.

When we operate faith, it is based on the faithfulness of God.

In Biblical Hebrew, the word faith and faithfulness are related.

In Heb. the word faithfulness mean "Emet" from the same root word "Amen." So we can say God is faithful or God is Amen.

In Grk. Amen means "So be it" and in Heb. it means "Truth"

Other words related to faithful are:
1. Permanent - does not change
2. Established - firm, secure, does not move
3. Reliable - can be trusted, trustworthy

+ Nothing can make God unfaithful. Our faithlessness does not undermine God's faithfulness.

2 Timothy 2:11-13 KJV
[11] It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: [12] if we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: [13] if we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

+ We cannot annoy Him to be unfaithful.

+ We cannot provoke Him to be unfaithful.

As a result, we can anchor our faith on the GUARANTEE of His faithfulness.

*Confession*

My faith is unleashed from every restraint and anchored on the faithfulness of God. Amen🙏

THE SALVATION THAT CANNOT BE LOST! - 5

Keith Getty and Stuart Townend have beautifully captured this edition for us in the following hymn

In Christ Alone (My Hope Is Found)

In Christ alone, my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This Cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My Comforter, my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand

In Christ alone, who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save
'Til on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live, I live

There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious Day
Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ

No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life's first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I'll stand

THE SALVATION THAT CANNOT BE LOST! - 4

Jerry: I welcome you and all our friends to the 4th edition.

John: Thank you Jerry for your kingdom service.

Jerry: Yes! We exited on that 'kingdom note' in the last episode.

John: Very well!

Jerry: Please at what point do we see the kingdom of God, - in this life or after death.

John: There are not a few people who misconstrue what the Lord said in John 3:3.

Jerry: Can't wait!

John: They say Jn.3:3 means to "Receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, so that you can go to heaven when you die"

Jerry: Me too!

John: Not exactly so. You don't have to die to see the kingdom of God.

In Luke 9:27, the Lord told His disciples, "But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the kingdom of God.

Jerry: I've read that too but never understood it.

John: Jesus already brought the kingdom.

The kingdom of God was inaugurated and officially opened to all on the day of Pentecost and since then, many are being translated into it (Col.1:13).

For the kingdom of God is "... righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Rom. 14:17). Only the Holy Spirit can awaken it.

Jerry: What then does it mean to "see" the kingdom of God?

John: The Greek word used for "see" in the context is "eido" and it means,
"to be aware" "to understand" "to be sure."

For example, if a friend is telling you something you didn't understand previously, and all at once, there passes over your face the illumination that indicates you now understand - your reply would be
"I see."

Not because of anything you saw with your physical eyes, but that you now "know, understand or comprehend"

That INSIGHT into a thing that gives the true knowledge of it, is what is means to "see"

Jerry: This is so insightful! I'm on cloud nine!

John: So, to be born again is to be born from above. To be born from a HIGHER REALM where ETERNAL THINGS are CLEARLY SEEN.

Without the birth from above, it is IMPOSSIBLE to see the kingdom of God, because natural men have not been given power to see spiritual things (1Cor. 2:14)

Therefore, to see is to know and understand - Mt. 13:11

Jerry: This is quite revealing!

John: It was said concerning Moses, that "by faith, he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as SEEING HIM WHO IS INVISIBLE" -
Heb 11:27.

Seeing the invisible will make it easy to forsake this world and to do the will of God.

Our manner of life and conversation, our walk of faith and kingdom lifestyle; are only a reflection of what we see - Col. 3:1-5

This is why the Bible remains a closed book to the unconverted and unspiritual people, though they may be very educated; while it is an open book to the least educated of believers.

Jerry: I think that I belong to the latter.

John: The Master said, these truths are "hidden from the wise and prudent and revealed to babes (Mt. 11:25).

A babe is one who is born, and so, until
we are born from above into the kingdom of God, we cannot receive these things into our hearts.

Jerry: Thank you so much elder. I'm seeing clearer now.

John: The Lord be praised!

Jerry: We will meet again in the next episode. Please share with others and keep advancing the kingdom of God.

A SPECIAL PRAYER FOR YOU

In Ephesians 3:14-16, the Apostle Paul prayed for them and said, “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.

He said, “I am praying for you that God would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened (invigorated) with might miracle-working ability.

He’s emphasizing the importance of giving recognition to the working of God’s Word in our lives and the working of the Holy Spirit in our Christian growth.

Another version says to be strengthened with excellence by the Holy Spirit in your inner man; so that what you learn of God’s Word will not just be in your head but working by the Holy Spirit in your life.

He’s talking about the power of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit working out that which is the perfect will of God in your life so that your Christianity will be effective and evincive.

It is my fervent prayer that you experience an overflow of this dimension in every area of your concern, in this season and beyond in the name of Jesus Christ.

THE SALVATION THAT CANNOT BE LOST! - 3

(Please check the previous two episodes for update)

Jerry: Hello elder John

John: Hi Jerry. Grace abounds to you.

Jerry: Same to you. We left off with a bang in the last episode!

John: Certainly!

Jerry: The question from last episode is whether believers who departed from the faith are still saved?

John: The Lord Jesus introduced the two new parents responsible for new birth in John 3 vs 5 - the "Word and the Spirit"

The word of God is the new Mother and the Spirit of God is the new spiritual Father.

Jerry: Just like the physical birth.

John: Exactly. Just as it requires the male s***m and the female o**m to beget a human child, so it takes the union of the Spirit and the Word within the believing heart to beget a child of God.

It's only when the Word is quickened or fertilized by the Spirit that divine life is generated within.

Jerry: I appreciate that perspective.

John: This is the Power of being born again!

At salvation, the Spirit of Life is dispensed into the believer directly from the Heavenly Father
Luke 24:49
Acts 1:4-5
Galatians 4:6

On the other hand, the Word of Life is dispensed into us through the Church.

The Church is called, the Jerusalem that is above - the mother of us all (Please read the following)
Galatians 4:26
Hebrews 12:22-23

Jerry: Why then do we have deformed and distorted children of God.

John: This is not due to any fault on the part of God. The s***ma (Spirit) of God has no defect in it, and so, cannot pass any spiritual defect to its offspring.

Jerry: Where did the defects come from?

John: There is a great and damning fault in the church world that seems incomprehensible.

The word that is ministered through the church mother had become an inconceivably perverted word, a defective word, and the defects within that word are passed on as congenital anomalies - birth defects - to the children born of that word.

Jerry: I can relate to this too well.

John: In this day especially, many are now credited with being born again who sees no kingdom (Jn. 3:5) and whose lives have not been transformed

Jerry: Regrettably so, elder John.

John: Let me conclude with this truth.

When children of God are conceived by the joining of the s***ma of the Holy Ghost with the o**m of the pure and incorruptible word of God; the result is a perfect child of God that is able to grow up as a son or daughter of God into the very image of God!

Jerry: Thank you sir.
My faith has been heightened for more...

Please join us again for the continuation in episode 4.

Until then, remain saved and safe in the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ, our Saviour.

THE SALVATION THAT CANNOT BE LOST! - 2

Jerry: Thank you elder John for your time.

Please what's your first word?

John: Thank you too, Jerry.

The first word is simply this;

Since you are the one who "gave your life to Christ" at the point of salvation -

You are not unlikely to "take it back" at the point of tribulations.

Jerry: How could this be?

John: You see, at the point of salvation -

The protocols of the Scripture requires the man of sin -

The old man in Adam, (who is considered dead according to Ephesians 2:1),

To receive a new life the Saviour offers -

And not the other way round.
John 1:12-13

Jerry: No two ways about it!

John: Absolutely!

So, let me have your questions for this episode.

Jerry: What is the position of a backslidden Christian?

John: Suffice to say there are "Christians" in name only.

Jerry: Do you mean those who bear Christian names?

John: Not necessarily.

It includes those who engage in Christian services and programs "with their mouth but not with their hearts" - Mt. 15:8

These ones could vacate their position in Church and stop all their "church errands" altogether.

That's no backslide.
They are just where they've always been in their hearts.

Jerry: What about the sincere believers who were deceived?

John: The lack of Christ - consciousness is the bane of many Christians in our day.

There is a "joint-knowing" that is essential to our victorious living in Christ.

It's this complete knowledge of "Christ in you" and "you in Christ" that marks the difference.

Until when this kind of knowledge is embraced and experienced,

The flame of "spiritual decline" cannot be easily extinguished.

Jerry: This is getting more interesting. Shall we zero in on this in our next episode?

John: Very well.

Remain blessed and keep looking unto Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith.
