Meet H.E. María Milagrosa Nchama-Nzoho Abeso — a distinguished leader advancing tourism development in Equatorial Guinea and across Central Africa.

With over 15 years of experience spanning tourism development, destination planning, tourism promotion, aviation and commercial management, H.E. María Milagrosa brings a unique public-sector and industry perspective to the tourism conversation.

Since July 2026, she has served as Secretary of State for Information, Press, Culture and Tourism of Equatorial Guinea, where she oversees the tourism portfolio and contributes to efforts positioning tourism as a driver of economic diversification.

She is also the creator of the Central African International Tourism Fair – Equatorial Guinea (FITAC-GE) and a member of the World Committee on Tourism Ethics of UN Tourism.

At AeroWest Summit 2026, she joins the conversation on destination development, tourism promotion, sustainability, aviation and stronger tourism cooperation across West & Central Africa.

Meet Mr. Babatunde Afolabi — a tourism entrepreneur and cultural advocate redefining destination experiences in Nigeria.

As the Founder of Black Boy Africa Group and Black Boy Africa Gallery, and Convener of the Thrive Community, Mr. Afolabi is committed to promoting culture, heritage, experiential tourism and community-led destination development.

His work spans destination marketing, cultural storytelling and tourism experiences, including the Amala and Palm Wine Festival, which welcomed over 3,000 attendees in its maiden edition.

At AeroWest Summit 2026, he brings a perspective rooted in the power of culture and community to drive tourism growth and make African destinations more compelling to visitors.
