A lot of people think shipping fees are always higher than the cost of the item, but that's not true.
Shipping fees are not based on the price of what you buy. They are calculated mainly using the package's CBM (Cubic Meter), which is determined by the length, width, and height of the package.
For example, you can buy a ₦5,000 item that comes in a very large box. Because it takes up more space during shipping, the shipping fee may be higher than the item's price.
On the other hand, you can buy a ₦100,000 phone or jewelry that comes in a small package, and the shipping fee may be much lower because it occupies very little space.
So, it's not true that shipping fees are always higher than the item itself. It all depends on the size (CBM) of the package, not the value of the item.
