📍Emirates Cancels Airbus A380 Flights on These 6 Routes 🛫

(EK), based in Dubai (DXB), has revised its June 2026 network plan by withdrawing the A380 from six routes spread across five countries. The affected destinations include Copenhagen (CPH), Osaka (KIX), Washington Dulles (IAD), Munich (MUC), Manchester (MAN), and London Gatwick (LGW).

The carrier will continue serving each of these cities using smaller widebody aircraft, mainly the 777 and the newly inducted Airbus A350.

📍 A paraglider gets hit by a Cessna 172 near the Austrian town of Zell am See.

The paraglider was able to pull her rescue parachute and land safely shortly after the incident on Saturday.

According to police, the 44-year-old Austrian had started from Schmittenhöhe in the direction of Piesendorf. Above the Pinzgauer Hütte, she collided at 1:15 p.m. with the Cessna piloted by a 28-year-old.

The pilot of the Cessna, which flew from the Glemm Valley in the direction of Zell am See, was able to land the aircraft safely at Zell am See Airport.

During the incident the right main gear and the nose gear collapsed and the right wing suffered a fuel leak following damage. The sole pilot suffered minor injuries.

Qatar Airways has reported a massive US$1.94 billion net profit for the financial year ✈️💰
Despite tighter schedules and reduced capacity, the airline still managed to grow revenue and deliver one of the strongest results in the industry.

Interestingly, both Singapore Airlines and Emirates recently announced staff bonuses following their strong profit results… but so far, no bonus announcement has been made by Qatar Airways.

Emirates Approached to Set New Base at This Asian Airport✈️

Israel’s Ministry of Transportation has approached Airline (EK) with an unprecedented proposal to launch seventh freedom flights from Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) to New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK).

The offer would let the Dubai-based carrier operate standalone routes between Israel and two foreign markets without any connection to its home base.
