WISDOM TO REMEMBER WHEN YOU'RE UNDER PRESSURE
1. Never make rash decisions with relationships while under stress.
"Negative pressure contributes to erratic decisions. Keep in mind bad company corrupts good behavior. Therefore always examine the intent as to why someone has all of a sudden popped up in your life. Remember, people come into your life for only two reasons, either to help or to hurt you!"
2. Make sure you get your attitude together and make sure your mind is clear.
"Learning how to unwind without intoxication allows your brain to recover from unwanted free radical enzymes and now your mind has time to refocus. Take time to tap into the principles of the Word for yourself, so you can see the growth in yourself.
3. Realign your perspectives and reorganize your methodology.
"As you age, be sure to grow as well, for it is never a guarantee. Some middle aged adults still have teenage mindsets. When you're under pressure, it's not a time to flip out, but a time to step out of yourself and stop looking at things with a victims mentality, but from a victors mindset."
4. Keep your mouth shut if you have nothing positive to say.
Many people speak too fast and try to fix later, not realizing a persons behavior originates from their own mouths. The problem lies within their heart and from their heart, they talk more than they should be praying. When you get your heart right, you'll get your words right.
Every word comes to pass even if you don't mean it. The problem is when you have to fight off the very thing you spoke into existence.
5. Isolating your mind body and spirit.
So many rely on s*x, drugs and alcohol, all temporary pleasures to mask long-term pain. The problem then is compounded with intoxicated decisions and the dilema of not knowing when the right mind is present.
One key to remember is to get away from man-made solutions and connect with eternal resolutions.
There are no shortcuts to living an obedient, blessed life, even under heavy pressure. Pressure doesn't change you, principles do.
The Most High has given His word and rules since the beginning and it will never change, therefore it's up to you to stop giving excuses on why you can't to reasons on why you can.
Being accountable for your own growth is what you will be held to, while in this lifetime and the next.
