This day 16 years ago, my exquisite mum answered the glorious home call from the One she loved, served and lived for!!
*Here are 16 destiny-moulding values I caught from my mum.*
1. Certainly, I learnt deep spirituality from my mum. You gotta love God or God. She programmed our lives with the Word of God and prayers.
2. My mother taught me how to have great visions and pursue them. Oh she dared things that were bigger than her circumstances.
3. She taught us never to depend on any mortal man, siblings inclusive. People could promise heaven on earth, but know that the frailty of humanity can catch up with them, thus failing to fulfill their promises.
4. Mum taught me when and how to be gentle, warm and fierceful.
5. I do not know how to curse or use vulgar languages because my mama never cursed, no matter the pain or the situation!
6. My mother was loving and sacrificial to a fault, I see myself walking in this path.
7. Mama was very accomodating but she wouldn't waste an extra minute to cut you off if she realizes that you're a goat in a sheep's skin. I honestly just started on this journey.
8. Her family/children was next after God. She was a present wife and mother. Having a whole family is my major goal in life after heaven.
9. Mummy found contentment in living a simple life.
10. Hey she was hardworking... I never caught her idle. She was a woman that ventured into alot of things just to ensure everyone was okay.
11. She was a truthful woman. No human being was big enough make her lie.
12. Mum was loyal and respectful to everyone around her.
13. Mum had a deep sense of urgency. She utilized her time judiciously.
14. My mum walked with the wise. She was never found in the company of those that gossip, envy or planners of someone's downfall.
15. Mum was a great cook. She could cook with no seasoning yet you'd lick your fingers. My dad tells me I cook like her
16. And of course, I have learnt and seen that the seed of the righteous is blessed. No seed sown by the righteous goes unrewarded. We are all reaping the harvest of her seeds.
I lay down my crowns to hail the One (The I Am that I Am) that was capable of calling you home. No one else could.
