Middle East Airspace Disruptions – What You Need to Know

Due to ongoing regional developments, several Middle Eastern countries have closed or heavily restricted their airspace, affecting international flights and passenger itineraries. Major hubs including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha are impacted, with cancellations, delays, and rerouting already in effect.

Current airspace status (subject to change):
* UAE – partially closed
* Qatar – effectively closed
* Bahrain – effectively closed
* Kuwait – closed
* Israel – closed to civilian traffic
* Iran – fully closed
* Iraq – fully closed
* Jordan – fully closed

Airlines affected: Emirates, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, and other international carriers operating through Gulf airspace.

What travellers should do:
* Confirm flight status directly with the airline before heading to the airport
* Monitor airline apps and airport websites for real-time updates
* Check travel insurance for disruption, cancellation, or curtailment coverage

We are just back from our journey in Namibia and Botswana and we wanted to thank you warmly for your great assistance and organisation for those two weeks in Namibia. Everything was so smooth and well organized ! The hotels were outstanding and we even loved the TA Camp that has this flavour of adventure we appreciate 😁
We will keep a long time in mind the landscapes and experiences of Namibia (especially the ballon flight and the Damaraland elephants excursion) !

World Animal Day is more than just a day to appreciate the creatures that share our planet; it's a global movement to raise the status of animals and improve welfare standards worldwide. It's a day to reflect on our responsibility to the natural world and its inhabitants.

​Respecting nature and animals is fundamental to our own well-being and the health of the planet. Every species, from the smallest insect to the largest whale, plays a vital role in maintaining the delicate balance of ecosystems. When we disrespect nature, through pollution, habitat destruction, or unsustainable practices, we disrupt these balances, leading to consequences that will impact us all.

​On World Animal Day, let's renew our commitment to being stewards of the earth. This means advocating for ethical treatment of animals, supporting conservation efforts, choosing sustainable lifestyles, and educating ourselves and others about the incredible biodiversity that surrounds us. As twilight descended upon Windhoek, we gathered on a mountain top, eyes turned to the horizon, ready to witness a rare and breathtaking event – the blood moon eclipse.
​Then, it began. A sliver of shadow crept across the moon's face, a subtle dimming that hinted at the grandeur to come. Slowly, majestically, the Earth's shadow consumed our lunar companion, transforming its familiar silver glow into a dramatic, fiery red. What an experience to be part of nature's wonder...
It's been seen beyond Namibia, but our skies are just amazing with no light pollution.
