Your fridge could be dead the moment you switch it on at the new place. And you would never see it coming.

Here is the part nobody tells you: large appliances take their worst damage on the inside, where you cannot see it until it is too late.

Lay a fridge flat and its compressor oil runs into the cooling lines. Move a washing machine without its transit bolts and the drum shakes its bearings loose on the road. Fold a treadmill the wrong way and the motor housing cracks. Every one of these looks fine on arrival, then fails days later.

Our new guide shows you how to move all three safely:
✅ Why a fridge must stay upright, and the 24 hour rule before you plug it back in
✅ Draining, transit bolts, and front load vs top load washers
✅ Treadmills, weight racks and cable machines, and what to take apart first
✅ When DIY is fine, and when a pro is actually the cheaper choice

Moving a sofa, wardrobe or bed? It all looks straightforward until you hit the first narrow doorway.

The scratched walls and cracked frames usually come down to one thing: no plan before moving day. So we put together a room by room guide on doing it properly.

Inside:
✅ Why you measure the lift and doorways, not just the furniture
✅ Which pieces to take apart, and which can move whole
✅ How to tilt a sofa through a tight frame without forcing it
✅ Wrapping and corner protection that actually saves the piece
✅ Sorting condo lift bookings and access before the day, not on it

"Just book a lorry lah, cheaper." 🚚

Until moving day arrives and you realise nobody's there to carry your wardrobe down three flights of stairs. 😩

Movers and packers vs. lorry rental. They sound similar, but they're two very different services. Picking the wrong one is how people end up:

❌ Paying twice because the lorry left before everything was loaded
❌ Missing their condo lift slot and having to rebook
❌ Scratching furniture they packed themselves
❌ Or overpaying for a full-service move when a simple lorry would've done the job

We broke down exactly what's included in each, the real costs (including the ones that don't show on the quote), and a simple rule of thumb to help you decide.
