What began as an exciting journey to Da Nang suddenly turned into a traveller’s worst nightmare.
A passenger had just arrived at KLIA Terminal 1 when an unexpected fall at the Eraman store left her injured, shaken, and worried that her trip was about to end before it had even begun.
In pain and under stress, she faced a daunting question: Would she miss her flight?
But this story didn’t end there.
Stepping in without hesitation were Wan Muhammad Irfan, Azniza Azizan, and Juraideh Baharudin from our ERAMAN (MA Niaga) division.
After ensuring she received the medical attention she needed, the trio refused to let her journey stop there. They sprang into action, coordinating a special inter-terminal shuttle, navigating time-sensitive arrangements, and personally escorting her through immigration and airport procedures.
Step by step, they stayed by her side until she safely reached her departure gate at Terminal 2.
What they gave her that day was more than assistance.
They gave her reassurance when she felt vulnerable. Calm when she felt overwhelmed. And hope when it seemed her travel plans were slipping away.
This is what the STAR Award is all about.
Congratulations to Irfan, Azniza, and Juraideh on receiving our highest recognition for outstanding frontline performance. Your actions remind us that true service is not measured by processes or procedures, but by the difference we make in someone’s most challenging moments.
Because sometimes, the smallest acts of care leave the biggest impact.
