CZE's Sustainability Journey!
Mr S. Pirithivaraj, our GM along with K Anand Kathamuthu (Head of Operations) and Shan (Head of Fleet and Maintenance) came down all the way from Penang to visit the Malaysian Commercial Vehicle Exhibition held in MIECC, Selangor.
Here we are checking out the all new Foton eAumark (by Tan Chong Group), a full EV light duty vehicle.
As a part of our ESG journey, we are committed to making a difference in the industry. We are infact keen on investing on EVs in the very near future, but at the same time studying the operational feasibility of running EV trucks in the day to day operations.
While we are exploring the EV vehicles, we have in fact invested on a number of Euro5 trucks since year 2023 and continuously increasing. We believe even the slightest contribution can mean a greater good for the environment.
In addition to that, we are also focused on innovations and technology - almost all our recent trucks are fitted with "Idling Aircons", where the air conditioning of the trucks can be kept running though the engine is off. We understand the waiting times of the driver is inevitable but at the same time their comfort is important too - we have a win win situation whilst at the same time reducing the carbon emissions by not burning the fuel during the idling times!
