🥂 Cheers to the Weekend — And the Final Weeks of Whale Season
The weekend is here, the sun is shining, and the bay is still graced by some of the ocean’s most incredible visitors. Whale season is almost over, which means these are some of the last chances to see humpbacks in Banderas Bay before they begin their long journey north.
Every winter, humpback whales travel more than 3,000 miles from the cold waters of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest to the warm, protected waters of Mexico’s Pacific coast. Here in Puerto Vallarta, they spend the season breeding, giving birth, and raising their calves before heading back north in early spring.
Right now, many of the whales you see are mothers and young calves, preparing for that incredible return migration.
So here’s your sign to make a plan.
Grab your friends.
Book the yacht.
And spend the weekend on the water watching one of nature’s greatest journeys before it’s gone for another year.
