(جرّافة التكريك 309) تم تنزيلها عشيّة هذا اليوم وباشرت أعمالها الفورية المعنية بأعمال تأسيس وتوسعة حوض المرسى الخاص بالمنطقة الُحرة وميناء سرت التجاري ضمن بروتوكول عقد إنشاء هذا المشروع الذي تعمل له الإدارة التنفيذية بكامل إمكاناتها لإنجازه في وقت قياسي كأحد أهم مشاريع القرن في منطقة سرت وما حولها ..
وعوداً على بدء فإن الـرقم 309 الذي اُختير لتسمية هذه الجرافة هو دلالة على رقم الكتيبة التي قادها (المشير خليفة حفتر )أثناء حر.ب العبور (اكتوبر 1973) .. ليظل هذا الرقم وسماً شاهداً على أبطال ليبيا في خوضهم لِغِمار معركتي حر.ب البناد.ق، وحر.ب التنمية والإعمار في أي موطأ يطؤون.

The name "309" was selected for the dredger in tribute to the battalion led by Field Marshal Khalifa during the 1973 October War.

It serves as a gateway for commerce between northern and sub-Saharan African countries, with plans to expand its capacity to facilitate regional and international trade.
