As I settle back into the rhythm of home life after a month-long stay in Spain, I want to share with you what I did on my final morning in Barcelona. I visited a very cute sewing goods shop Lola Botona and couldn't resist picking up a souvenir for my album shop - two fabrics for a special limited collection that will soon be available in my shop. I had one last cortado on our beloved street near the Sant Antoni market. There I treated myself to a couple of Clemenvilla mandarins from Valencia (where we also spent a lot of time). Hey there, I'm back! It's been a while, and a lot has happened. I've embraced motherhood while navigating its highs and lows. I have also developed a keen interest in the user experience design and gained some hands-on experience. While immersing myself in the IT field, I've come to the realization that, alongside this, I also want to continue my handcrafting practice. There's immense joy in it for me.

I believe this is the perfect moment to reintroduce myself. My name is Anna. I work and reside in Riga with my family. I enjoy walks in the nature, drawing scenes from everyday life and having fun with our kiddo. My favourite coffee drink is cortado and breakfast is my favourite meal. I try to notice the beauty in ordinary moments. About 18 years ago I crafted my first photo album and I still love how this process lets me be creative.

I have updated my Etsy shop ( https://www.etsy.com/shop/Albumeria ) with some albums from my latest collection, which I'll be gradually adding more to. I've been experimenting with new bookbinding techniques, and I can hardly wait to incorporate them into the photoalbums and guestbooks I will be making. I also enjoy creating custom albums, so feel free to reach out if you have specific ideas in mind, whether it's the fabric for the covers, size, and more.

Here are some moments from yesterday’s photoshoot with my 6 -year-old daughter. She was the main photographer and also the director of the small video where gingerbread mysteriously disappears from the table. We had a lot of fun :)
