A journey to Tallinn with cars that each carry a story. 🚗

Members of the Antique Automobile Club and representatives of the Riga Motor Museum, Ivars Dortāns and Gunārs Dortāns, took part in a special trip to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Estonian club Unic.

Among the cars transported with the help of Kurbads were some true automotive gems, including a unique Talbot with Saoutchik coachwork, recognized as the oldest car at the event, as well as a sixteen-cylinder Cadillac and other remarkable classics.

It is always a pleasure to collaborate and be part of special projects like this! Thank you for the trust, and we look forward to many more journeys together. 🤝

Ceļš uz Tallinu ar automašīnām, no kurām katrai ir savs stāsts. 🚗

Antīko automobiļu kluba () un Rīgas Motormuzeja () pārstāvji Ivars Dortāns un Gunārs Dortāns devās īpašā braucienā uz Tallinu, lai piedalītos Igaunijas kluba “Unic” 50 gadu jubilejas svinībās.

Ar Kurbads palīdzību uz Tallinu tika nogādātas vairākas īstas pērles, tostarp unikāls Talbot ar Saoutchik virsbūvi, kas pasākumā tika atzīts par vecāko automobili, kā arī 16 cilindru Cadillac un citi ievērojami klasiskie auto.

31 years on the road - and the journey continues. 🚛✨

Since 1995, Kurbads has moved forward through experience, determination and strong partnerships. Last year, as Kurbads reached its 30-year milestone, car carrier T125 joined our fleet - a modern Volvo FH 62T truck from Volvo Trucks Latvia equipped with a Kässbohrer Transport Technik GmbH system and featuring a unique design by Latvian artist Alfreds Paulausks (PAUK.ART). It embodies our heritage, strength and drive for the future.

Today, we thank everyone who has travelled this road with us and continues to shape the Kurbads story. The road never ends! 💫

Pirmā darba pieredze, kas dod vērtīgas prasmes nākotnei. 💪

Šovasar mūsu komandai pievienojās Dominiks, kurš pēc 9. klases absolvēšanas, pateicoties NVA () programmai, ieguva savu pirmo darba pieredzi uzņēmumā Kurbads.

Ikdienā Dominiks palīdzēja teritorijas sakopšanā un dažādos saimnieciskajos darbos, vienlaikus iepazīstot darba vidi, komandas darbu un atbildību.

This summer, Dominiks joined our team after graduating from 9th grade and, through an NVA programme, gained his first work experience at Kurbads.

During his time with us, Dominiks helped with maintaining the territory and various day-to-day tasks, while learning more about the working environment, teamwork and responsibility.

We are proud to be a place where young people can learn, gain experience and take their first steps into the world of work. 🙌

On 15 August, Riga came alive with the energy of the Red Bull Showrun! 🏎️

Kurbads was proud to be part of this spectacular event, taking on the role of track marshals and standing ready to assist with vehicle recovery if needed during the show.

Fortunately, everything went smoothly, allowing us to enjoy an unforgettable day filled with powerful machines, impressive performances and some of the best views of the action. 💥

A successful event, an incredible atmosphere and another great experience for the Kurbads team. We hope Riga enjoyed the show as much as we did!

15. augustā Rīgu piepildīja Red Bull Showrun jauda un enerģija! ⚡️

Arī Kurbads bija daļa no šī iespaidīgā notikuma, pildot trases maršalu pienākumus un esot gatavībā nepieciešamības gadījumā veikt auto evakuāciju no trases. 🚛

Par laimi, pasākums norisinājās veiksmīgi un bez starpgadījumiem, ļaujot arī mums izbaudīt jaudīgos spēkratus, iespaidīgos priekšnesumus un lieliskus skatus uz notiekošo.

The 19th Kurbads Boat Trip - Keeping the Tradition Alive 🛶
Once again, the Kurbads family came together for one of our most anticipated traditions - the 19th annual Kurbads boat trip, held on August 8-9.

Bringing together colleagues from across the Kurbads Group, we set out on the scenic Engure River, paddling nearly 18 km through the beautiful landscapes of Kurzeme to Lake Puze. 🌿

After a day on the river, the adventure continued by the campfire, where Emīlija Kate Tomsone performed, filling the evening with music and creating a special atmosphere for everyone gathered. The following morning brought another Kurbads tradition — team sports games, where friendly competition, energy, and teamwork once again reminded us that the strongest results are achieved together. 💪

Cleaning up the river has become an integral part of our annual tradition. The Engure River is generally clean, but this year Kurbads paddlers once again spotted and collected plastic bottles, various food packaging, and other waste left in the river. It reflects our team’s attitude towards Latvia’s nature – leading by example and encouraging others to care for and protect it.

For us, this annual journey is about more than kilometers traveled on the water. It is about the people beside us, the traditions we continue to build, and the shared experiences that strengthen the Kurbads team year after year.

Kurbads vienā laivā jau 19. reizi! 🛶 8. un 9. augustā lielā Kurbads saime atkal pulcējās vienā no mūsu gaidītākajām tradīcijām - 19. Kurbads laivu braucienā.

Apvienojot Kurbads grupas uzņēmumu kolēģus, devāmies gandrīz 18 km garā piedzīvojumā pa gleznaino Engures upi, baudot Kurzemes ainavas un kopā sasniedzot Puzes ezeru. 🌿

Pēc dienas uz ūdens piedzīvojums turpinājās pie ugunskura, kur vakaru muzikāli piepildīja Emīlija Kate Tomsone, radot īpašu atmosfēru un papildinot mūsu kopā būšanu ar skaistu muzikālo pavadījumu. Savukārt nākamajā rītā mūs sagaidīja tradicionālās sporta spēles. Sacensību azarts, komandas darbs un kopīgi piedzīvotais vēlreiz atgādināja - vislielākos mērķus sasniedzam, darbojoties kopā. 💪

Par neatņemamu tradīciju kļuvusi ikgadējā upes sakopšanas talka. Engures upe kopumā ir tīra, tomēr arī šogad Kurbads laivotājiem izdevās pamanīt un savākt plastmasas pudeles, dažādus pārtikas iepakojumus un citus upē atstātos atkritumus. Tā ir mūsu komandas attieksme pret Latvijas dabu – ar savu piemēru aicinām par to rūpēties un to saudzēt. 🌿

Šis ikgadējais laivu brauciens mums ir daudz vairāk nekā kopā pieveikti kilometri. Tie ir cilvēki mums līdzās, tradīcijas, ko turpinām veidot, un kopīgi piedzīvojumi, kas gadu no gada stiprina Kurbads komandu.

This week, Red Bull Showrun has taken over Riga! 🏎️🔥

Formula 1 RB8 car, Ford Mustang V8 Supercar from Australia, and other spectacular machines have arrived in the city - and KURBADS is proud to handle the logistics and transportation behind the scenes, ensuring the safe and professional movement of these vehicles between locations across Riga. 🇱🇻

The main event takes place this Saturday, 15 August, from 14:00–16:00 on Eksporta Street, featuring an impressive program of Formula 1, drifting and spinning demonstrations, motorcycle stunts, WRC cars, iconic retro vehicles and much more. ✨

A unique event and one of the highlights of Riga’s 825th anniversary celebrations, adding even more energy to this special weekend in the city. See you at Red Bull Showrun Riga! 💥

🛶 The 19th Kurbads Boat Trip - Keeping the Tradition Alive.

This long-standing tradition has become an important part of Kurbads culture, bringing our team and families together, strengthening team spirit, and creating memorable moments beyond the everyday work environment.

Starting near Ugāle, we paddled almost 18 km along the scenic Engure River in Kurzeme, following its winding course all the way to Lake Puze. Surrounded by peaceful landscapes, birdsong, and great company, we enjoyed a day filled with adventure and quality time together.

A special thank you to Reinis Pižiks from Dabalaba for guiding us along the way and making this year’s journey truly special.
