The Leadership and entire membership of the Liberia National Trade Union (LINTU) extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and the entire community of customs brokers on the passing of Mr. Ivan Tumbey, former President of the Customs Broker Association of Liberia.

Mr. Tumbey’s contribution to the customs brokerage profession and his dedicated service to the trade and logistics sector in Liberia will not be forgotten. His leadership, commitment, and advocacy for professionalism helped shape and strengthen the customs brokerage community.

In this time of profound loss, we stand in solidarity with his family and colleagues. We pray that the Almighty grants his soul eternal rest and gives comfort, strength, and peace to all who mourn his passing.

We are pleased to acknowledge the official launch of the National Pricelist for LINTU by the Ministry of Transport. This is a milestone made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the Liberia National Truckers Union. This long-awaited development marks a significant stride toward greater transparency and fairness within the transportation sector, benefiting all who rely on these essential services.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our President, Mr. Omaru A. Fofana, whose unwavering commitment and determined advocacy made this achievement possible. The steadfast support of the Board of Directors and our Vice President, Mr. Abraham B. Mulbah has likewise been invaluable throughout the process.

The Liberia National Truckers Union (LINTU) extends its deepest condolences to the Management and Staff of the National Port Authority (NPA) and the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Unit on the tragic loss of one of your officers, Mr. Alex K. Paymah, who passed away yesterday in a motorcycle accident.

We mourn with you in this difficult moment and recognize the invaluable service he rendered in safeguarding our port community. His dedication and commitment will be remembered with honor.

May his soul rest in perfect peace, and may his family, colleagues, and the entire NPA community find comfort and strength during this time of grief.
