RIA Manager Convenes High-Level Facilitation Meeting to Enhance Service Delivery

Robertsfield-The Airport Manager of Roberts International Airport (RIA), Hon. James Mulbah, convened a high-level facilitation meeting at the RIA Terminal to strengthen operational efficiency and elevate service delivery.
The meeting, aimed at improving operational efficiency and passenger experience, brought together key representatives from airport staff and critical government agencies to address pressing infrastructure and service delivery challenges. Participating institutions included the Liberia Immigration Service, the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency, the Liberia Revenue Authority, and the Ministry of Agriculture, among others.
During the session, participants identified and discussed several pivotal issues to improve airport operations. Key discussion points included the urgent need to upgrade the check-in system to reduce wait times and enhance passenger convenience. Stakeholders also called for the construction of a Unit Load Device (ULD) storage facility at NAS-Menzies to streamline cargo handling and improve logistical efficiency. The completion of the airport’s lighting system was highlighted as a critical safety and operational priority.
Hon. James Mulbah underscored the importance of inter-agency cooperation in achieving these objectives, stating: “This meeting reflects our shared commitment to transforming Roberts International Airport into a world-class facility.”
