Initially it catered to the entertainment industry by providing sound equipments. As this industry was expanding rapidly demands for show lighting necessitated. Henceforth the company switched to the show lighting business. The company earned much reputation in this field locally and internationally as the quality of the output met to international standards. This is due to the high technical know
ledge of the directors and usage of advanced technology in lighting. Currently we are the only lighting company in Sri Lanka to possess the most sophisticated lighting equipments. We are proud to place on record the Company’s only authorized dealership in Sri Lanka for products of ROBE show lighting - Czech Republic, SGM- Italy, 18 Sound- Italy, Ram Audio- Spain and Deshlong Audio- China. This upsurge felt the company’s need for recognition and prompted for a conversion of the partnership to a limited liability company. On the 27th January 2006 MOS Sound and Light (Pvt) Limited was formed. By this time the company experienced a serious drawback for expansion due to non availability of a spacious land and building to locate its office, parking space for 15 vehicles, secure storage of lighting equipments and staff accommodation. To overcome this situation the Company invested in a 118 perch land at Angoda. Now the business is located in a spacious environment and in the process of diversification. Now the company has a capacity of fifty employees, provision of staff accommodation, massive transport availability and parking facility.
