Greetings from the Rolling Tasman Sea! 🌊

The wreck of the WANDERER on the rocks of Cuttyhunk Island in August, 1924. New Bedford never again sent a ship on a whaling voyage.
This ship was also used in the making of the 1922 version of the movie DOWN TO THE SEA IN SHIPS.

HMS Conway, formerly known as HMS Nile a 90 gun second rate ship of the line being towed into Birkenhead for a refit. She would eventually run aground and be struck while pulling into Birkenhead for another refit in 1953. Photo is from
