CURIOUS AND ATYPICAL VISIT

Ranminithenna Tele Cinema Village

A unique movie site in Sri Lanka, located near Tissamaharama in the district of Hambantota, in the southern province of the country. 

• It is the first "tele-cinema village" in Sri Lanka, created especially as a production park for films, TV movies and series. 

• The site extends over a large area with film sets, various sets, buildings reproducing colonial scenes, markets, lakes, etc., and it has been used for local productions and some international films. 

• It is also open to visitors interested in cinema, photography and Sri Lankan popular culture. 

• the official opening took place in 2010. 

• Some structures are ageing, or even in very poor condition

Entrance 3500 rupees.

If you want to get off the beaten track, see a very different place, this visit is to be done.

We have just spent 3 weeks in Sri Lanka and we were lucky to have Ruwan as a guide driver during our stay. We had made our program upstream but thanks to him all our days were full of good surprises. He is super attentive, benevolent, respectful, honest, he knows his country very well and anticipates the tips so that the experience (visits, train...) is the best for his group.

Really do not hesitate, it will bring a lot to your stay in this beautiful country!

We called on Ruwan for an 11-day tour in Sri Lanka. He makes us discover his country and his culture, with kindness and passion. He was able to organize visits and Safaris at very correct prices, he is honest, and he was very caring for you and even invited us to his home after the tour... I recommend it to you....

We have always traveled and discovered countries by ourselves, but I admit that Ruwan allowed us to fully enjoy our holidays without any worries... English-speaking guide...but in good French we have a very average English which did not prevent us from communicating

Nous pouvons recommander Ruwan sans réserve!

Ruwan nous a été recommandé par un ami et nous a déjà beaucoup aidés à planifier notre voyage pour planifier l'itinéraire idéal pour un voyage de 2,5 semaines et trouver des hôtels appropriés.

En raison de chevauchements d'hors chez Ruwan, notre compagnon de voyage était finalement Rohan, qui nous a accompagnés lors de notre voyage.

Le voyage a été parfait pour nous : grâce au service de transport privé, nous avons pu visiter de nombreux endroits en quelques jours, nous reposer pendant les trajets en voiture et profiter du paysage qui passait. Rohan a toujours répondu à nos souhaits et a enrichi notre voyage avec de nombreux conseils d'initiés.

Il faut souligner à quel point Ruwan et Rohan ont été courtois à tout moment. Des fruits sur la route et de l'eau étaient fournis à tout moment.

Si vous prévoyez un voyage au Sri Lanka, n'hésitez pas à contacter Ruwan et votre voyage sera inoubliable !

We can recommend Ruwan without reservation!

Ruwan was recommended to us by a friend and has already greatly supported us in planning our trip to plan the ideal route for us for a 2.5 week trip and to find suitable hotels.

Due to scheduling overlaps at Ruwan, our travel companion was finally Rohan, who accompanied us on our journey.

The trip was perfect for us: due to the private driving service, we were able to visit many places in a few days, relax during the car journeys and enjoy the passing landscape. Rohan has always responded to our wishes and has enriched our trip with many insider tips.

It should be emphasised how courteous Ruwan and Rohan were at all times. Fruit on the road and water was provided at all times.
