Chouf Coast Fishermen Coop The cooperative was established in 2003 and has 123 members today with Mr. Mohamad Kojok as the Head of the it.

The Fishermen Cooperative Association in the Chouf Coast is located in the Jiyeh Port and is responsible for the management and the organization of fishing activities in the area as well as for selling the catch in the different areas of the Chouf. The port is one of the smallest ports in Lebanon but has a major growth potential.

Since we rehabilitated the Jiyeh port & built its fish market with support from UK in Lebanon, the fishers are able to sell their fresh catch directly to you.
The market is open all week from 6 am to 5 pm.
