I'm not a big museum fan, but I had to stop at the Museum of Pop Culture in ! I got to nerd out with Star Wars AND Horror films. I loved how they had both history (the captain's chair from Star Trek) and newer sci-fi (the baby alien from Resident Alien).

These were only small parts of the museum! Definitely give yourself about 3 hours to explore the entire thing.

Last week, I got to revisit Seattle while visiting family! It's been over 17 years since I visited, but I definitely remembered the highlights.

Pike Place Market, even though it's busy, is a must-do! It's HUGE! Two floors, inside and outside, even temporary street vendors! It has everything you want, from housewares to fresh pasta, but my two favorite spots to stop were Metsker Maps (yes, ALL things maps & travel!) and The Crumpet Shop. They had both savory (tomato pesto) and sweet (maple sugar) crumpets! The Crumpet Shop also had delicious tea!

From Thursday's post, someone messaged me with a few questions about my swim with manta rays. Here are my answers (and my GoPro video from the dive - no editing!)

💙 Yes, the manta rays are wild
💜 No, you cannot touch or ride them
💙 I did scuba diving, but you can also snorkel and be on top of the water - they had incredible views too!
💜 While I hate night dives, I do recommend this to anyone visiting Hawaii (or other manta ray destinations) If you're not a strong swimmer, they have surfboards with pool noodles to hang on to!
