Today, we were delighted to host a vibrant Girls in Aviation Day here at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, in partnership with Women in Aviation Kenya Chapter, Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA), Jambojet, Fahari Aviation, and Kenya Airways. 💙
The young girls had a rare opportunity to step into the world of aviation, right from checking in and boarding an aircraft to hearing inspiring career stories from industry trailblazers like First Officer Christina Mati, Cabin Crew Lenah Nasaka, and Jambojet Engineer May Dingo. They also connected with aviation professionals such as Fahari Aviation’s Agnes Wanjira, learning first-hand the teamwork and passion that keep our skies safe and moving. 🌍✈️
At JKIA and Kenya Airports Authority, we believe in empowering the next generation of women in aviation. Today, we planted seeds of inspiration for the leaders, innovators, and changemakers of tomorrow.
