National Youth Council Elections 2026 Process

​Hii ni breakdown ya the whole process:

​Step 1 (Ward Level): Vijana wote mtaani wanapiga kura kuselect delegates 6 (wasichana 3, mamboys 3). Hapa ndio kila kitu inaanza.

​Step 2 (Constituency): Hao delegates wa ward wanakutana kuchagua mabazuu 2 (msee mmoja na dame mmoja) watakaorepresent constituency kwa National Youth Congress.

​Step 3 (National Youth Congress): Hapa ndio delegates wote wa Kenya wanapatana. Wanachagua members 8 wa kuingia National Youth Council na ku-nominate wengine 8.

​Step 5 (National Youth Council): Hii sasa ndio "Apex Body"—wale mabazuu wa mwisho wenye wana-advise serikali kuhusu ishu za vijana.
​Vile itakuwa:
​Age: Lazima uwe miaka 18–34 (usikue unaturn 35 hii mwaka ya kura).
​Inclusion: PWDs na wasichana wako ndani kabisa! No 2/3 gender dominance.
​Goal: Fair representation na uongozi safi (transparency).

Today 31st march 2026 Geno CBO has managed to help one citizen to acquire her long waited ID ,due that she is of over age has ID regulation demands that she had to come with either parent or sibling to confirm that indeed she belong to the community.all in all the process is first if you have required documents like.birth certificate and copy of either parent ID.Tunasema pongezi kwa registra of persons office in Homabay town subcounty for always working with community for this exercise. Today on 2nd march 2026 Geno cbo visited Nyagweno Lando community to inspect on stalled water project ,the issue was raised during political party sport dialogue on 15thFeb at lala secondary school Arujo Ward Homabay town subcounty by community members .cbo officials and community members agreed to do follow up on the project juu imestall for over one year now since mid 2024.they call upon duty bearers to step in coz the borehole was serving over 2000 people and animals.now they are forced to walk close to 4km to get water from the lake or buy 20lire jerican at a cost of ksh.30.
