A vintage long haori for women.　The deep purple color is beautifully rich.
The pattern is sayagata, a classic Japanese geometr5ic motif. Itis created by stylizing the character 卍 (manji) into a diagonal, continuous geometric design.
Because the pattern has no beginning or end, it is said to symbolize longevity and continuity.　　深い紫の色合いが日本らしい長羽織です。こういった長い丈の羽織は今は作られていないらしく、長羽織というだけで＝古い＝お値段もちょっとお高めです。

A formal men’s black haori with five crests.
The outer fabric has a smooth, cool touch unique to silk, with a gentle weight that gives it a sense of richness.
Inside, a bold kabuki-inspired scene unfolds.
The white and red hair instantly reminds me of Renjishi — the famous “Two Lions” dance from classical Japanese theater. 五つ紋の付いたフォーマルな黒の男性用羽織を見つけました。表地は少しひやりとする滑らかな手触りで、生地通りが擦れる時に出るシュルシュルシュルという音がなんか高級感ありますよね。✨
内側には歌舞伎の場面が描かれており、白髪と赤髪から連獅子かな？と思ったり。
