Happy New Year. All for the best to you in 2021.
We harvested organic mandarin oranges in Tomo’s Farm today.
We hope we would love to send them to guests. A lot of vitamin C and it is good when served with tea or blended a dried peel of them with black tea. We will open when we defeat viruses. Don’t give up. You can handle it.

Tomo’s INN announces that Lycoris flowers which we called “Higanbana” in Japanese means “equinox flowers” have bloomed in Handa city. It’s about 15km and taking 30 mins from here by our shuttle. It’s almost same season here every year. Hope you will see the real flowers in the near future. This is related our fairy tale “Gongitsune” in Japanese means “Fox Gon” written by Nankichi Niimi who was born in this region. This book tells us the ethics deeply between fox and human. We need an imagination.

Anyway I’m happy he visited Nishio to drink Matcha green tea and broadcast into Thailand. I’m an official Japanese tea adviser, if you have any questions please let me know.

TV program “Mission Traveler” both in Thailand and Japan has broadcasted. Mr. TUM introduced Nagoya including Nagoya international airport and Matcha place in Nishio, Sakushima Art island, Shirakawago in Gifu and so on through the missions. Japanese singer & actors from Nagoya also introduced Thailand at the same time.

Hope we will handle covid-19 in the near future.

As you know Nagoya which is located in Aichi prefecture that means “we know love” province has so many culture and activities such as traditional float festivals that registered UNESCO intangible heritages, Tokoname city and Seto city Pottery Area, you can make your own terra-cotta or ceramic arts like dishes, cups and so on by local good quality of clay with traditional kilns, Miso production process in Miso factory in Olazaki. Japanese foods are based on Umami which is the traditional fermentation method to make even Soy sauce, Sake, Shochu etc... We also have Matcha green tea terroir in Nishio. You can learn how to make a tea and experience matcha green tea ceremony to learn the etiquette in a traditional tea room. Arimatsu dyed textiles is nice to visit on Tokaido footpath to “Edo” I mean Tokyo.

写真は大名行列(豊臣秀吉)、岡崎市の味噌蔵見学、西尾市の抹茶摘み(八十八夜)、名古屋市緑区(旧東海道)の有松絞り染め、焼き物体験(常滑焼・瀬戸焼)。

勿論、本年は状況が状況なので複雑な気持ちです。
