The NHYTE Project It is coordinated by the Italian NOVOTECH Aerospace Advanced Technology s.r.l. and funded with total budget approximately 5,2M €.

The NHYTE, an ambitious European collaborative research partnership, aims to lead the European aviation sector to the next step, tackling the challenges that the sector currently faces. Particularly, NHYTE focuses on developing concepts and methodologies which will enable the realization of innovative and green integrated aero-structures made by a new recyclable hybrid thermoplastic composite mate

rial with multifunctional capabilities. The proposed high-performing hybrid material responds to the needs for reduced weight and consequently reduced fuel consumptions and emissions of an aircraft, as well as for more ecological and less costly manufacturing processes. Funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme under grant agreement No. 723309, officially began its three year old lifetime in May 2017.
