Our last evening in Abruzzo ended in the piazza… and it became one of the most beautiful moments of the journey ❤️🇮🇹
Together with the .colledimezzo , we helped shape a community gathering centered around music, aperitivo, and bringing the village together — and they brought forward something deeply special in the tradition of merletto, a craft they had been wanting to share more intentionally.
What unfolded felt like so much more than an activity.
Grandmothers teaching, children running through the square, card games, a DJ, sunset, aperitivo… somehow it all felt effortless.
What I loved most was watching my guests connect — even across language barriers — through laughter, gestures, and simply creating side by side.
We didn’t just witness village life… we were invited into it.
And maybe my favorite part?
This collaboration didn’t just enrich our guests — it created something meaningful for the community too.
Such a beautiful celebration of our time in Italy ✨
If experiences like this speak to you, I’d love to share them with you in September. 😉( link in bio)
