Westfalia Digital Nomads Westfalia Digital Nomads is Armando (filmmaker), Mel (writer), Ziggy + Arya (pups) and Mork, our T4 This year, we're celebrating 10 years of road life.

In 2012, a certain Italian filmmaker (Armando) arrived at the doorstep of a certain American writer living in Brno (Mel) and within a month, our T4 'Mork' was found. We've all changed. Two dogs adopted us during our travels: Ziggy in Morocco and a few years later, Arya in Montenegro. Mork has also gone through changes. 'Morkenstein,' as we jokingly call him now, has a completely altered exterior a

nd interior. Armando decided to re-design the van around our needs. Solar panels, lots of USB ports, a functioning indoor shower, a heating system and a lot of bits and bobs. We also removed the pop top and added a hard roof, creating much more space. Some problems with the engine this year prompted us to also invest in a tiny house. A cabin, really, in a campground. It's such a different experience living in one place! But we're happy to have somewhere to go when we're a little 'traveled out.'

We've explored all over Europe (plus Turkey, North Cyprus, Canada and Morocco) - and we've always worked as we've traveled. It's been a roller-coaster adventure of 10 years and we're looking forward to the next 10 to come!

Bastano 20 minuti e 50 metri di statale per capire quanta differenza può fare anche una piccola azione.

Non serve organizzare ogni volta grandi eventi. A volte basta fermarsi, raccogliere quello che troviamo e lasciare un posto un po’ più pulito di come lo abbiamo trovato.

Un grazie al Camping Tavolara per la collaborazione e per averci aiutato con lo smaltimento dei rifiuti raccolti.

La Sardegna ha paesaggi incredibili. Sta anche a noi fare una piccola parte perché ciò che c’è intorno sia degno della loro bellezza.

Un sacco alla volta. Anche solo per 20 minuti.

It's been a good, long while since we've posted. We'd planned (and still plan) on catching you up. Soon. For the moment though, recent news: we said goodbye to Ziggy. Some of you met him in all his loveable glory, some of you know his antics from our videos. Not much more to say other than: he is greatly missed, and our travels will never be the same. -Armando, Mel & Arya.

Nuova tappa:

Siamo arrivati, abbiamo preso in affitto una tiny house
e in mezza giornata abbiamo traslocato tutta la nostra vita!

Quando vivi con poco, spostarci diventa facile.
Il lato bello del minimalismo è proprio questo:
meno cose, meno stress, più tempo per vivere davvero.
