What is the Gulf of Venus?⬇️⬇️⬇️

The name “Gulf of Venus” is probably evocative: it recalls the idea of beauty, elegance, and harmony typical of Venus.
It is located on the western shore of Lake Como, directly in front of Lenno!!

It is a very picturesque bay, with romantic views and typical Larian landscapes: it is visible from Villa del Balbianello, one of the most famous villas on Lake Como.
During the summer, it is also used for events: there is a “floating stage” in the gulf for evening shows!

On the shores of the Gulf there is also the amazing Villa Aureggi, a historic residence!

Cos’è il Golfo di Venere?

Il nome “Golfo di Venere” è probabilmente evocativo: richiama l’idea di bellezza, eleganza e armonia tipica di Venere.
Si trova sulla sponda occidentale del Lago di Como, proprio di fronte a Lenno.
È una baia molto pittoresca, con scorci romantici e paesaggi tipici lariani: è visibile da Villa del Balbianello, una delle ville più famose del Lago di Como.
Durante l’estate, viene utilizzata anche per eventi: nel golfo è presente un “palco galleggiante” per spettacoli serali.
Sulle rive del Golfo vi è anche la splendida Villa Aureggi, residenza storica.

The Grand Hotel Tremezzo is a historic luxury hotel in Tremezzo on Lake Como in Lombardy.

And have you ever been there?

The hotel was built on the grounds of Villa Poncetta by Enea Gandola, a native of Bellagio, who purchased the property in 1907 with the intention of opening a large luxury hotel to accommodate Tremezzo’s growing tourist industry.

Construction of the building, designed by architect Costantino Ferrario, began in 1908 and was completed in 1910.
