Um Qasir North Port Staff Complete Planning of Berths and Waterfront

The technical staff at Um Qasir North Port have completed the planning of the berth floors and waterfront, marking them with indicators and guidelines to regulate truck movement and ensure smooth operations in accordance with approved standards.

Captain Alaa Al-Akeeli, Acting Director General of the General Company for Ports of Iraq, stated—based on the directives of the Minister of Transport, Mr. Wahib Al-Hassani—that this work was accomplished due to its significant importance in facilitating movement within Um Qasir North Port and enhancing organizational awareness among both employees and drivers.

He added that the project also included the rehabilitation of service facilities, as well as the facades of warehouses and berths, which imparted aesthetic touches befitting this vital facility and highlighted its economic and service role in the country.

Director General of Ports of Iraq Chairs Meeting to Monitor Implementation of Government Program Projects

The Acting Director General of the General Company for Ports of Iraq, Captain Alaa Al-Akeeli, chaired today an extensive meeting in his office, attended by the company’s Technical Deputy, Mr. Abdul-Sada Khalaf Finjan, along with several department heads concerned with the ex*****on of government program projects and their stages of completion.

During the meeting, Al-Akeeli emphasized the importance of adhering to the directives of the Minister of Transport, Mr. Wahib Al-Hassani, which stress the need to accelerate the pace of work on government program projects in alignment with the ministry’s development plans, and to ensure implementation according to the highest approved technical and engineering standards.

The meeting included a review of progress rates for ongoing projects and a discussion of key challenges and obstacles that may arise during the work phases. It concluded with an affirmation of intensifying efforts and enhancing coordination among the specialized departments to guarantee completion of the projects within the specified timelines, thereby contributing to the development of Iraq’s port infrastructure and strengthening its operational efficiency.

ملاكات ميناء ام قصر الشمالي تنجز تخطيط الارصفة والواجهة البحرية

استكملت الملاكات الفنية في ميناء ام قصر الشمالي تخطيط ارضية الارصفة والواجهة البحرية بالدلالات والارشادات الخاصة بحركة الشاحنات وانسيابية العمل وفق المعايير المعتمدة.

وقال المدير العام للشركة العامة لموانئ العراق /وكالة الكابتن علاء العكيلي، استنادا لتوجيهات وزير النقل الأستاذ وهب الحسني؛ أنجزت ملاكاتنا هذا العمل نظرا لاهميته البالغة في تسهيل الحركة داخل ميناء ام قصر الشمالي وتعزيز المعرفة التنظيمية لدى العاملين والسائقين على حد سواء.

وأضاف: شمل مشروع تاهيل المرافق الخدمية وواجهات المخازن والارصفة الامر الذي أضفى لمسات جمالية تليق بهذه المنشأة المهمة وإظهارها بما يلائم مكانتها الاقتصادية والخدمية في البلاد.

مدير عام موانئ العراق يترأس اجتماعاً لمتابعة تنفيذ مشاريع البرنامج الحكومي .

ترأس المدير العام للشركة العامة لموانئ العراق وكالة الكابتن علاء العكيلي ، اليوم ، اجتماعاً موسعاً في مكتبه ، بحضور المعاون الفني للشركة الأستاذ عبد السادة خلف فنجان ، وعدد من مديري الأقسام المعنية ، لمتابعة سير تنفيذ مشاريع البرنامج الحكومي ومراحل إنجازها .

وأكد العكيلي ، خلال الاجتماع أهمية الالتزام بتوجيهات وزير النقل الأستاذ وهب الحسني ، التي تشدد على ضرورة تسريع وتيرة العمل في مشاريع البرنامج الحكومي ، بما ينسجم مع الخطط التنموية للوزارة ، والعمل وفق أعلى المواصفات الفنية والهندسية المعتمدة .

وشهد الاجتماع استعراض نسب الإنجاز في المشاريع قيد التنفيذ ، ومناقشة أبرز التحديات والمعوقات التي قد تواجه مراحل العمل ، مع التأكيد على تكثيف الجهود والتنسيق بين الأقسام المختصة لضمان إنجاز المشاريع ضمن الجداول الزمنية المحددة وبما يسهم في تطوير البنى التحتية للموانئ العراقية وتعزيز كفاءتها التشغيلية .
