My little girl ❤️

I love her in a way words will never be able to explain.
She’s a little piece of my heart walking around outside of me.

Watching her grow, discovering the world through her eyes, and getting to be her mother… is a kind of love I never knew existed.

My girl, my heart, my forever. 🫶🏻

Somewhere between the last round of playtime and bedtime, I’ve realised that these little rituals matter so much. 🤍

Not every bedtime needs to be rushed. Sometimes it’s just about creating a familiar rhythm that tells their little mind, “the day is slowing down now.”

And honestly, these quiet moments have become some of my favourite parts of motherhood — the cuddles, the random conversations, the little giggles, and those few minutes where it’s just me and her.

The Blue Nectar Kumkumadi Baby Body Oil and Shishu Nabhi Oil with Ghee & Hing have naturally become a part of our little routine too.

But beyond everything else, I think it’s the connection that makes these moments special. 🤍

What’s one little ritual that has become special between you and your little one?

3 plant-based milks you can easily make at home 🌱🥛

1. Almond Milk 🤎
½ cup almonds + 2 cups water
Blend until smooth, adding the water gradually rather than all at once.
✨ No straining required!

2. Coconut Milk 🥥
1 cup fresh coconut, chopped + 2 cups water
Blend really well, then strain through a muslin cloth or nut bag.

3. Oat Milk 🌾
1 cup rolled oats + 4 cups water + a little maple syrup + vanilla essence
Blend for only 30 seconds and strain through a muslin cloth.
⚠️ Don’t over-blend — that’s what can make oat milk slimy!

Storage:
Pour into an airtight bottle, refrigerate, and use within 2 days.

You can use these homemade milks in coffee, beverages, shakes, smoothies, cakes, porridges, stews and so much more. 🤍

And honestly, this is why I choose plant-based milk 🌿

I personally don’t want regular cow’s milk to be a part of my everyday diet. There are concerns around milk adulteration and contamination, and dairy consumption has also been studied in relation to hormonal changes, acne/breakouts and certain health outcomes, including breast cancer.

And then there’s the animal side of it. 🐄 The way cows can be treated in intensive dairy systems is something I personally don’t feel comfortable supporting.

So if I can make my own milk at home with a few simple ingredients, it feels like such an easy switch — for my choices and for the animals. 🤍

Which one are you trying first — almond, coconut or oat? 👇
Save this recipe & share it with someone who’s thinking of making the switch! 🌱
