Day 1 – Noida → Chandigarh → Gadagushaini (Tirthan Valley)
The journey began before sunrise in Noida, chasing empty highways and that restless excitement only road trips bring. Smooth expressways till Chandigarh, endless playlists, hot chai stops and then — the real Himachal revealed itself.
Post Chandigarh, the roads started curling into the mountains.
From Chail Chowk, the scenery flipped — narrow lanes, pine forests, waterfalls casually falling on the roadside, patchy network and zero traffic. The last stretch towards Gadagushaini wasn’t about speed, it was about patience, off-roading and soaking in how raw these mountains still are.
By evening, we finally checked in at the brand-new Zostel Gadagushaini — sitting in the middle of absolute nowhere, surrounded by forested hills, river sounds and starry silence. No cafés, no crowd, no chaos — just wooden balconies, cold air and the feeling of having reached somewhere rare.
Dinner was simple, the conversations long, the tiredness real — but hearts were already full.
This wasn’t just a destination.
It was the beginning of a slow mountain story. 🏔️✨
