Mining is such a discipline or profession where there is immense chance of manipulation. Non mining professional even fails to understand the manipulation.Non mining professional works as head in many organization.They know only carrot and stick approch.But mining is totally practical oriented.Unless someone has experience and expertise in related mining viz opencast or underground,he may not be successful.Many softwares are misused in organization.Softwares are used for survey volume calculation. Total station is the instrument for survey of any area.But actually mining software should be used for planning and design purpose.Freshers or people having no experience in field handle mining software for planning and design purpose.Hence huge money wasted for wrong planning and design .For eg:
Somebody has planned same target production in monsoon which has been planned in summer or winter ignoring the capacity and other preparatory arrangements in rainy season like garland drains,proper drainage in haul road, maintenance of stack yard,jamming of screening plant,crushing plant ,dewatering from pit ,bench collapses,dump management etc.
otherwise target production will fail in rainy season.Practical experience is compulsory for succesful planning and design of a mine.
Those organization who recruit freshers in mine planning,simply wasting money of the organization nothing else.
if any mine is planed and designed using software,then it must be implemented in field,then only the benefits of utilizing software will be fruitful otherwise not.

CEA ha issued Norms for Annual Contracted Quantity (ACQ) of coal for Thermal Power Plants to be effective from 14.07.2021.

The quantity consider the effect of Total Moisture on GCV i.e. 5% excess quantity to be given based on difference between GCV(ARB) and GCV(EQB).
