Cycling is becoming a very popular mode of transport. Though it still has a long way to go, Bengaluru has taken a step in the right direction by its vehement promotions of bicycle usage. The popularity of bicycles among the urban populace is very evident with the increasing number of cyclists on the City’s roads. There are many cyclists and cycling org
anizations, whose contributions have led us to where we are now. Though there are hundreds of cycling enthusiasts in Bangalore, a high percentage of them are not aware of the various facilities available to cyclists. Whether it is a sales of high-end bicycle brands or service & maintenance of cycles to organized bicycle tours, the Bangalore Cycling Community is a treasure trove for cycling enthusiasts. In an effort to bring the cyclists and cycling groups of Bangalore together, ICYCLE.in is organizing the CYCLISTS’ DAY 2014. This is a bicycle exclusive event and will play host to many bicycle groups of the City. This will be the place where the budding cycling enthusiasts of Bengaluru will get a glimpse into the rich cycling culture of the city.
