Dupadu is a prehistorical place with great history dating back to Famous Krishna Devaraayalu period. The place is called "Dupadu Seema" with surrounding places. ce. Chandavaram is 3 miles form this place and well connected with public transport system. Also one buddhism excavation site exists next to this place( Near Right Canal, 1.2 Miles). Andhra Pradesh Archeology department has collected some gold lotus flowers along with pottery and sacred bones of monks lived here in the past excavations. People believe that the cave form this place leads to Chandavaram. This place also features famous Abhayanjenaya Temple and Sri Rama Temple. Dupadu is one of the major villages in Tripuranthakam mandal, Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, India. Dupandu is situated on Kurnool-Guntur state highway. Most of the population of Dupadu is dependent on agriculture. In recent years some people have migrated to cities and towns to have businesses of their own.
