Dupadu is a prehistorical place with great history dating back to Famous Krishna Devaraayalu period. The place is called "Dupadu Seema" with surrounding places. Andhra Pradesh Archeology department has collected some gold lotus flowers along with pottery and sacred bones of monks lived here in the past excavations. People believe that the cave form this place leads to Chandavaram. This place also features famous Abhayanjenaya Temple and Sri Rama Temple. Dupadu is one of the major villages in Tripuranthakam mandal, Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, India. Dupandu is situated on Kurnool-Guntur state highway.
