We also provide a weekend services for college students in Galway, Cork & Limerick to Kerry. We operate a daily shuttle service for the Institute of Technology Tralee from Manor West to the South & North Campus. We are delighted to be working with Maharees Heritage and Conservation on this SMARTCoast pilot shuttle bus this summer. It will run over four weekends (18-19; 25-26 July; 1,2,3 and 8-9 August.
A small suggested donation is invited: €2 per adult, €1 for Under 18s - (cash only to the honesty box on the bus) – all donations will go to the work of Maharees Conservation Association CLG (RCN: 20108571).

MAHAREES CONSERVATION SUMMER SCHEDULE 2026!

We are delighted to share our summer event schedule. Part-funded by Kerry County Council Community Support Fund; Kerry County Arts and CreativeIrl and River Basin Management Service, this set of free events will celebrate and share our cultural and natural heritage as well as having a bit of craic along the way - note the Fun Quizes are happening on the 21st July and 13th August this year with a 10th Birthday Bash for Maharees Conservation on Saturday 25th July! We will partner with Castlegregory Tidy Towns, Breeding Waders EIP Project, Irish Wildlife Trust - Kerry Branch and Irish Elasmobranch Group to deliver a series of activities at the Sustainability Village at the Castlegregory Agricultural Show on Saturday 1st August (don't miss this!) and we will also have several events on for Heritage Week. We're asking everyone to have a go of the SMARTCoast pilot shuttle bus over four weekends (18-19; 25-26 July; 1,2,3 and 8-9 August and PLEASE do the questionnaire! We invite you to join our community and Explore the Maharees!
Please note - many of these events have capacity for safety reasons so if you book in advance by sending an email to: [email protected], you will be emailed details.

Adrian was a champ, I don’t think there was a request turned down. Always prompt, with a friendly smile. His knowledge of Eire and its history was illuminating. The relationships he has across the country led to some fantastic days for us. His driving was spot on, that journey to Connemara is a test in a car, let alone a coach.
