Another couple of surveys to finish the week off. 2 very different boats at different stages of their lives. One recently purchased and the other in the process of a complete refit.. Certainly some recommendations due to the works to be completed, but on the whole in structurally sound condition with plenty of life left...

Fairly happy with the result. Unfortunately no before photos. So a client asked me why some deck screws were pulling out. Poking the screw holes the core seemed dry. So we decided to bite the bullet and check the core. Cut out the lower layer of glass and the core was dry. I think the screws were too short. So the holes were filled and redrilled. The client didnt want to through bolt so longer screws were used and the fitting is now solid. The lower layer of glass was refitted. A final sand and a coat of paint and you would never know we were there.. .

This ignition switch looked fine, but when it was switched on it, wouldnt register voltage. A little past "on" it would register, but worst part it wouldn't bring back to the on position when the engine started meaning it had the potential to keep the starter engaged.
A fairly quick job to change it for a new ignition and all working as it should.
