Well done to the Malin RNLI Fundraising Branch

🛟 𝗔 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗡𝗟𝗜 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 🛟

The volunteer crew at Lough Swilly RNLI would like to extend our sincere thanks to Malin RNLI Fundraisers for their incredible donation of €10,000, raised through a series of recent fundraising events across their region.

We were delighted to welcome members of the fundraising team to our station on Saturday, where they joined us for the naming ceremony of our new Atlantic 85 lifeboat, Davdot. Their presence made the occasion even more special and gave us an opportunity to personally thank them for their outstanding support.

We would also like to acknowledge the generosity of the Inishowen community, who support, attend, and contribute at these fundraising events, which help make this remarkable donation possible. Your continued commitment to Lough Swilly RNLI and to saving lives at sea is truly appreciated.

Every euro raised helps support our volunteers in providing a 24-hour search and rescue service, and we are deeply grateful to everyone involved.

Thank you, Malin RNLI Fundraisers, and thank you to the people of Inishowen for your unwavering support. 💙🚤🌊

This was our first trip of 2026 back in May . The trip was amazing, from the good weather and hike on Inishtrahull Island to the incredible views of basking sharks,seals,seabirds,and lots of bottlenose dolphins. The group of passengers onboard were fantastic. This trip was the first of a great season for 2026 . We can’t thank you all enough for your support of our family run business.

We are passionate about showing our passengers the spectacular beauty of Inishowen’s coast and the incredible marine and avian wildlife that inhabits this section of Donegal. We always use caution and respect for the natural environment of the wildlife.

The 2027 season is very exciting with the new addition to True North Boating, 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙨, built by local builders,Seabound Engineering in Greencastle,County Donegal. 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙨 will be wheelchair accessible and ready for use for the 2027 season .

Silly photo but nonetheless a great morning today meeting other tourism providers and sharing ideas to help build local knowledge & strengthen our tourism community here in Inishowen and the rest of Donegal. Thank you to Go Visit Inishowen, Donegal and Fáilte Ireland and Redcastle Oceanfront, Golf & Spa Hotel for hosting this important event.
Great meeting some new faces & catching up w familiar ones .

The markings on the dorsal fin help to identify this particular dolphin and help researchers study the population and behaviour of the bottlenose dolphins who reside in the local waters in Inishowen.

As Autumn has arrived , we want to sincerely thank each and every person who has joined us this 2026 season for a Sea Safari tour , trip to Inishtrahull Island or a Private Charter.
Your support of our small family run business is hugely appreciated!
Thanks to the Donegal County Council for the use of the floating pontoons at Bunagee Pier, allowing us safe passenger access.
We have enjoyed meeting so many friendly people from near and far !

We are very excited for the completion of our new boat , Polaris, which will be a fantastic addition for the 2027 season . Wheelchair Accessible.

If you have an unused voucher for 2026 season , hold on to it and it will be honoured next year.

Out on Donegal Bay today with Atlantic Coastal Cruises. Many thanks to the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group . We viewed Minke Whales , common dolphins , seals and loads of seabirds
