One new record is amazing but Aoife only went and done it too - 16:06:30 - Absolutely phenomenal going, her 1st 80 miler and a new women’s record - Go Aoife 🙂 Aoife Mundow

Drop bag packing - I am on to remind everyone to ensure you pack neat, well labeled, manageable food bags for the checkpoints. Every year our race see a crazy load of food waste. Keep them tidy, well sealed and don't go mad on the amounts in them lads. Thanks 🙂

Wicklow Way Race - Live Event Tracking

I've not weather checked in the past few weeks for the low down. Here's hoping it's not like last years scorchio for daylight hours come June 8th. A bit of a plus will be the bigger hills are gonna be done with early stage this year.

We have Dynafit and Adventure.ie back on board as race day sponsors once again. Thanks to both so very much for the top end and Age Cat. offerings. I'm looking forward to seeing this years finish line set up to welcome all returns. Our little Clonegal village will be a nice change for the many who ran from there in darkness last year.

All that's left to be said for now could be, will we see a new course record set this year by the men or women 🤔
