Some great news received this week that for the 2nd year running we have been nominated for a Sisk Supply Chain Partner of the year award.
This is a massive achievement and we are so grateful to be honoured in this way. Well done to the entire Daracore team for their hard work and professionalism. Shortlisted nominees were decided by Sisk senior management teams after consideration was given to a wide range of criteria.

Our journey began with Sisk in April 2003 on their residential project in Cherry Orchard Dublin and we have been honoured to work with them on some huge high profile projects over the years including the event venue the Convention Centre Dublin.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!!!

Saturday the 19th of September……

AUTO COLLECTIVE, in association with our main sponsor DARACORE RACING will be having a day of biking to celebrate another successful year of racing at home and abroad!

Starting at 2pm from centra in Rathangan, (route to be confirmed & weather depending), we will make our way around Kildare and the nearby counties on a LEARNER FRIENDLY spin at a nice leisurely pace with a couple of stops along the way for refreshments.

Arriving back into “the village pump” Rathangan between 4pm and 4:30pm we will be greeted by the Daracore racing team with their race bikes and international race star Kevin Keyes for a little meet up, some food and the usual biker chats. The lads will also have a stall/stand on the day where you can purchase some of their stunning race merch, helping the lads continue to do what they do best - winning races!!

The local food stop “MA’s kitchen” will be staying open late, offering riders top notch food and drinks at great prices, making sure the stomachs will be lined for what’s to come….

Later that evening “THE VALVES” will be rocking the pump with some savage tunes. So whoever is sticking around, or dropping the bikes and coming back, can have a serious feed of pints and music to go with them!! Overnight parking is available on site for bikes should anyone wish to go on the pints early 😋

Come on down and say hi 👋 bring the family & kids for a look at some cracking bikes and join in the fun.

We look forward to seeing everyone there.

Let’s make it a day to remember 🏍️🏍️

Bank Holiday Weekend Complete ✔️

Another busy Bank Holiday weekend for the Daracore team, delivering critical infrastructure and transport projects while also celebrating success on the race track.

🚧 Job 1 – Uisce Éireann Major Water Main Repairs

Our first project formed part of a major repair programme on the Ballymore Eustace to Saggart water supply line, which delivers over 200 million litres of water every day—supplying around one-third of the Greater Dublin area's water.

Three Daracore crews were mobilised:

🔹 1 Core Drilling Crew – Friday, 11:00pm
🔹 2 Wire Sawing Crews – Saturday morning

Working within a tightly managed 27-hour shutdown, our teams carried out precision cutting from ground level, removing sections of the pipeline to provide access for the repair works.

The overall operation involved more than 300 personnel, with crews walking up to 300 metres inside the main to reach the repair locations.

Another critical infrastructure project delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.

🚊 Job 2 – Luas Maintenance Works

Two saws were mobilised for scheduled Luas maintenance works, completing:

✅ 730 metres of 40mm × 40mm expansion joint cutting at Belgard Luas Stop on Saturday.
✅ A further 380 metres at Cookstown Luas Stop on Sunday.

A great effort from the team, giving up their Bank Holiday weekend to keep these essential projects moving.

🏁 Daracore Road Racing Team

A special mention to the Daracore Road Racing Team and our own operative, Kevin Keyes, who competed at the Mid Antrim 150.

The team secured three podium finishes from four races:

🥈 2 × P2 finishes
🥉 1 × P3 finish

Pictured are Kevin Keyes alongside Michael Dunlop on the podium.

Congratulations to everyone involved—whether on site or on the circuit.

Another Bank Holiday weekend that reflects the dedication, professionalism and commitment that define the Daracore team.
