One more important project for A.R.T. Logistics – done!
Gas Producer and Power Turbine (Titan130) with elements of dangerous cargo was carefully delivered along the route Turkmenistan, Lebap velayat through the port of Turkmenbashi - Alyat (Baku) port-Baku Airport - Chicago airport - jobsite in Descoto, USA.
Overall dimensions of the cargo:
5.99 x 2.54 x 2.68 m,
weight - 13844 kg
class of dangerous goods - 2.1.
We had to face the following difficulties:
- Not a standard route with several cargo reloading points due to a change in the type of transport (truck - ferry - truck - air-truck);
- Difficulties in observing the required transit time due to a change in the type of transport along the entire route, due to the lack of a permanent timetable for sending by ferry and air
- The transportation was organized during the national holidays in Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan;
- Features of the work of official services in Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and the United States.
Despite all the difficulties the cargo was delivered exactly on time and in great condition.
